An Introduction to
TATTOO REMOVAL

The light from the laser targets ink and pigmentation and it is then metabolised and disposed away by your own body and your immune system. The Quanta Q Plus penetrates deeper than others, meaning you'll see results quicker, and more noticeable than other laser removal methods. You can get amazing results at Cornwall Laser Specialists with the Quanta machine and treatment with Kayleigh & her team, with years of experience and many very happy clients who have experienced the fantastic results offered in clinic. All tattoo removal procedures at our clinic are performed by our highly skilled and certified team, who have undergone extensive training in laser treatment. Kayleigh has completed six advanced training sessions since her initial certification in Canada, ensuring her knowledge is always up to date and her clients are consistently satisfied. We utilise the Quanta Q Plus C Evo, one of the premier laser machines available today. This machine features three wavelengths, allowing for safe and effective treatment of dark, cool, and warm pigments—something many other machines struggle with. We encourage prospective clients to research our equipment to appreciate its superior quality.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT TATTOO REMOVAL

  • During your consultation we will discuss your medical history and your laser specialist will make sure treatment is right for you. After your consultation you will be given a small test patch. You must then wait 7 days to ensure you are suitable for the treatment. Consultations cost £15 and our treatment rates start at £60.

  • Treatment duration depends on the size of the tattoo being treated. Treatment can be as short as a few minutes right up to 45 minutes. The cut off time for one treatment is 45 minutes due to your skin having to rest. We can also split up larger tattoos into multiple treatments to make the treatment more comfortable. Please note, large areas such as full arm sleeves will be split into at least 2 sessions, and each large session costs £155.

  • The treatment itself is a series of laser pulses that are fired rapidly next to each other in a pattern along the tattoo. The skin will frost which means it will turn white in colour. This is a normal initial reaction, and the frosting will go within 40 minutes.

You can expect to see any of the following post treatment reactions; Swelling, blood spots, bruising, redness, blistering and scabbing. We have some ointments we can recommend for this.

All clients are thoroughly ran through the healing process and instructed on how to look after the treatment area. It is important you follow your specialist's advice, and always contact the clinic if uncertain.

  • In short, it can be. Laser tattoo removal generates a heat reaction in the dermis. We recommend using numbing cream, starting the day before treatment, which should be applied as instructed and kept on until treatment to ensure effectiveness.

  • There are some important considerations and information you may need to share with us regarding your treatment;

    - UV EXPOSURE: Be honest about recent tanning as it can impact treatment results and may lead to pigment loss.

    - Medications: We may need to be made aware of medications that you are currently taking.

  • Results will be noticeable from your first treatment, but the number of treatments needed will be determined on factors such as the age, colour density and location on the body.

  • There are lots of things you can do to ensure a quick and safe healing process post treatment. This can include taking care in the sun, avoiding make up and creams, the clothing you wear, avoiding scratching and much more. Find our detailed aftercare advice on or new blog!

  • Yes! As long as you have a fully qualified specialist, using the best equipment in the industry, you have nothing to worry about. We take safety extremely seriously, which is why you will need a consultation 7 days prior, with a test patch completed. If you have any concerns, we are always happy to help.

  • The resounding answer from countless satisfied clients is a definitive "yes". Everyone's tattoo removal journey is unique to them. Some will see results quicker than others, and the results are of varying degree.

Eyebrow Tattoo Removal

Eyebrow Tattoo Removal

Gentle, Precise Removal With The Quanta Q-Plus C

Eyebrow tattoo removal is one of the most delicate treatments I perform, which is why choosing the right laser was incredibly important to me.

The skin around the eyes is thin and sensitive, and permanent makeup pigments behave very differently to body tattoo ink. They need to be treated with care, experience and the right technology.

That’s why I trust the Quanta Q-Plus C.

After years of researching different tattoo removal systems, I chose the Quanta because of its precision, reliability and ability to safely treat cosmetic tattoo pigments while protecting the surrounding skin as much as possible.

Every Pair Of Brows Is Different

There isn’t a single setting that works for everyone.

Permanent makeup varies depending on the pigment used, how deeply it was implanted, how old it is and even who performed the original treatment.

That’s why every client begins with a thorough consultation. I’ll assess your brows, explain what to expect and create a treatment plan that’s tailored specifically to you.

Honesty is really important to me. If I think your brows may change colour before they fade, or if I believe multiple treatments will be needed, I’ll explain everything before we begin.

Why I Trust The Quanta Q-Plus C

The Quanta Q-Plus C is one of the most advanced medical-grade laser platforms available for tattoo removal.

Its precision allows me to target unwanted pigment while carefully protecting the surrounding skin. This is particularly important when treating eyebrows, where accuracy is everything.

Combined with over 12 years of laser experience, it gives me confidence that every treatment is performed safely and with great attention to detail.

You’re In Experienced Hands

My laser career began in Canada in 2013, where I studied laser technology, skin science and advanced aesthetic treatments.

Since then, I’ve completed seven further advanced laser training programmes in the UK and have treated thousands of clients.

Every eyebrow tattoo removal treatment is performed personally by me, Kayleigh Williams, Founder & Senior Laser Specialist.

Because when it comes to your face, experience matters.

Carbon Laser Peel

The Hollywood Facial With Real Science Behind It

The Carbon Laser Peel has become one of my favourite treatments because it delivers instant freshness while also improving the overall health and appearance of the skin over time.

Using the Quanta Q-Plus C, this treatment deeply cleanses the skin, removes dead skin cells, reduces oil production and stimulates collagen, leaving your complexion brighter, smoother and more refined.

It’s often called the Hollywood Facial because there’s little to no downtime, making it a popular treatment before weddings, holidays and special occasions.

It’s one of the reasons my clients continue to return for regular maintenance treatments.

What Can Carbon Laser Help With?

Carbon Laser Peel is ideal for clients looking to improve:

•  Enlarged pores
•  Oily skin
•  Congested skin
•  Dull complexion
•  Uneven skin texture
•  Mild acne
•  Fine lines
•  Overall skin radiance

Many clients notice an immediate glow after treatment, while a course of treatments can continue to improve the skin over time.

A Treatment Tailored To You

No two skins are the same.

Before every treatment, I’ll assess your skin, discuss your concerns and tailor the treatment to suit your individual goals.

My aim has always been to achieve healthy skin rather than simply chasing quick fixes.

Pigmentation Removal

Pigmentation Removal

Targeted Treatments With The Quanta Q-Plus C

Pigmentation can develop for many reasons, including sun exposure, ageing, hormones and previous skin inflammation.

At The Laser Room, I use the Quanta Q-Plus C to carefully target unwanted pigmentation while helping to preserve the surrounding healthy skin.

Why I Chose The Quanta

When I invested in the Quanta Q-Plus C, I wanted a laser that could do far more than tattoo removal.

Its versatility allows me to safely treat a variety of pigmentation concerns while delivering accurate, controlled treatments.

It’s an incredibly precise laser, which means treatments can be tailored specifically to your skin and the type of pigmentation being treated.

Every Pigmentation Concern Is Different

Not all pigmentation is the same.

Some pigmentation sits close to the surface, while other types develop deeper within the skin. That’s why a proper consultation is essential before beginning treatment.

I’ll always assess your skin carefully, explain whether laser treatment is appropriate and create a personalised treatment plan based on your individual needs.
